After starting the 2025 NFL season with two wins, the Arizona Cardinals have now dropped two games in a row, following a 23-20 Thursday Night Football defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. It was a game where Kyler Murray struggled for much of the night but showed signs of recovery in the fourth quarter; however, it wasn’t enough.

The Arizona Cardinals managed to tie the score at 20 in the final quarter, but a critical error by Marvin Harrison Jr. proved costly. He dropped a well-thrown pass from Murray that ended up being intercepted.

It was a night of ups and downs for Kyler Murray. At the start of Week 4, the former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback finished with 22 completions on 35 attempts for 213 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. He was repeatedly booed by the Arizona fans, and although he displayed his talent toward the end, it wasn’t sufficient.

Fans call for Shedeur Sanders in Arizona

It has become common this season that whenever a quarterback struggles, fans immediately call for Shedeur Sanders to take over. Now, the attention has turned to the Arizona Cardinals. After Murray’s difficulties, especially with missed passes, fans on social media were calling for Sanders to step in.

This week, Shedeur Sanders stated that he is ready to play. Meanwhile, a parody NFL account, @LarryFosterNFL, posted about a statement from the Cleveland Browns quarterback that seemed like a subtle jab at Kyler Murray.

Currently, Shedeur Sanders is the third-string quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, behind Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel. However, it seems a change could be coming soon, with Gabriel likely taking over the starting role. If Gabriel fails to perform, an opportunity could arise for Deion Sanders’ son.

For now, the Browns will face the Detroit Lions this week. It will be very difficult for them to repeat their upset win over the Packers, but if Joe Flacco struggles, we might see a quarterback change in the Cleveland franchise.
