We are just hours away from knowing the complete NFL schedule, but to make the wait longer, the League has given some additional details of what we will see during the 2025 season

Now we know who each team’s opponents are, and we also know that the season’s kickoff will be an NFC East classic between the champions Philadelphia Eagles, who will host the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field, and on Tuesday, we learned about the league’s international schedule

In this sense, the Kansas City Chiefs play a prominent role, as they will make history by playing the second game the league has held in Brazil, also in an AFC West classic, against the Los Angeles Chargers, to open the season on Friday, September 5, 2025.

According to Eric Fisher, the Chargers will sacrifice one of their home games to play as administrative hosts in the Amazon. It is a challenge for the Bolts in a divisional game against one of their toughest rivals of the season. However, the decision makes some sense, because historically, in the Chargers home games, there are usually more Kansas City fans in the stands

A good news for everyone is that the match will be streamed for free worldwide via YouTube, with the idea that it will become the most watched sports streaming event in the league’s history

The rest of the Chiefs’ 2025 schedule

Thanks to the NFL’s scheduling formula, we have known each team’s opponents since the end of last season, and on Wednesday we will only know the order of the games, the times and the scheduling. For 2025, the Chiefs will play nine home games and eight on the road.
