Julio Cesar Chavez once again took advantage of his popularity to raise his voice against the violence currently suffered by citizens of Sinaloa at the hands of the different cartels operating in the area and asked them directly to take a step back and stop the terror they cause in the inhabitants of the area.
The ‘Cesar del Boxeo’ took advantage of a public meeting to make known with his voice a problem that affects millions of people in the state of Sinaloa, which is the constant violence they suffer at the hands of the different cartels that terrorize the area with shootings, violence and murders without consideration
The former world champion said he was very affected and worried about the situation that people are living due to the clashes between the cartels, which catches the civilian population in the middle of these confrontations. Chavez asked them to consider the possibility of reaching peace through the union of these violent groups to stop all the danger that is causing people who have nothing to do in their negotiations and gives as an example the enormous terrifying impact that violence has caused in Sinaloa and all the surrounding municipalities of the state of Culiacan.
“I ask all of Culiacan, which is going through very difficult times, to stop, to stop these massacres. Culiacan is the people very nice, very good, hardworking,” said the idol of many boxing fans.
But JC Chavez did not stop at that phrase and went further into the social problem that the area is experiencing. “I ask all the cartels with all due respect, to the two cartels that are fighting to please stop, please do it for Sinaloa. That they stop because a lot of people from other states are coming in to steal, to loot, to commit illicit things and they are taking advantage of the situation,” he argued solidly.
