While Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is playing his ninth season with the team and in the NFL as the reigning MVP, his wife continues to grow in her personal projects.
Josh and Hailee Steinfeld celebrated their wedding on May 31 in California, becoming one of the league’s most prominent couples. Now, the actress and singer has revealed intimate details in her weekly newsletter.
Haile reflects on her mental health
Hailee has been part of major projects throughout her career. She recently shone in “Sinners,” where she not only displayed her talent as an actress, but her song “Dangerous” was also featured on the film’s soundtrack.
In addition, thanks to her weekly newsletter “Beau Society,” which has nearly 87,000 subscribers, she shares her thoughts, updates, and reflections with her fans. In her latest installment, Steinfeld opened up about the emotional triggers in her life and how she goes about taking care of her mental health and managing them with the help of her therapist.
Reflecting on the existential dilemma of “having it all,” Hailee wrote: “That hit me like bricks… Thinking back on the conversations I’ve had connected to the idea of ‘having it all’ where I left feeling bummed or discouraged or even more confused, I was totally looking for validation,” Hailee commented candidly.
“Scheduling an emergency call with my therapist at 11 p.m. to talk me down from my spiral showed me that I didn’t actually want an honest answer; I wanted to hear some version of, ‘Of course, you got this. It’s all going to work out,’” she added, reflecting on the importance of turning to a support network to find calm in these moments.
To conclude her idea, Hailee brought some of that calm to her readers by stating that although it takes time to understand the meaning of life and resolve existential dilemmas, there is no need to worry, there is time: “I’m very much working on this in real time, but I know that life is long. I’m young. You’re young. We have time to figure out if we can have it all – and what the heck that even means,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, her husband and the Bills are preparing to face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium after a great start to the season with four consecutive wins, which were unfortunately followed by two straight losses.
