The Buffalo Bills are preparing to face the Carolina Panthers, who will be without their star quarterback, Bryce Young.

The quarterback has been unable to practice due to a sprained ankle, so a veteran QB who has a great relationship with the Bills Mafia is expected to replace him.

A game full of emotions

Andy Dalton, who has been in the NFL since 2011, will have to shine against the Bills. This season, he has only played in three games, completing nine of 13 passes for one touchdown and 118 yards.

However, Buffalo fans will be at a crossroads, as they share a great history with the 37-year-old QB, in which Dalton is the hero.

For this, we have to go back to Week 17 of 2017, when Andy was wearing the colors of the Cincinnati Bengals and Josh Allen hadn’t yet joined the Buffalo. The Bills needed Baltimore Ravens to fall to Dalton and company in order to qualify for the playoffs after a 17-year drought.

With tension and hope until the very last moment, Dalton threwa fourth-and-12, 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd, securing not only the victory for the Bengals, but also the team’s passage to the playoffs.

As a token of their gratitude, Bills fans donated more than $100,000 to the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation, while the QB also contributed a donation to the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo.

This exchange forged a warm bond with the veteran, whom they will now face at Bank of America Stadium this Sunday, October 26.

The Bills (4-2) come in after losing two of their last three games, while the Panthers (4-3) have racked up three consecutive wins.
