Bill Belichick is back in the spotlight, promoting his book, “The Art of Winning,” in which he shares lessons from his football career in an interview with CBS.

The former Patriots coach shared memories of his career and his father in a relaxed tone, but became shy when the conversation with Tony Dokoupil turned personal.

When his relationship with Jordon Hudson was mentioned, both indicated they did not want to discuss the subject. Hudson, sitting behind a monitor, was caught on camera by CBS and appeared to be part of the production team, but she was simply watching to make sure everything went smoothly.

At the end of the interview, the CBS reporter casually asked how they met and got an immediate response from Hudson.

“We’re not going to talk about that,” Jordon replied bluntly, making it clear that the matter was not up for discussion. Dokoupil only asked timidly, “No?”

This left a rather awkward moment that quickly went viral on social media, but that was all that could be captured on camera as Jordon took on the role of communications director and interrupted the program several times.

Jordon Hudson didn’t just interrupt once, she did it several times

According to multiple sources, the taping of the segment was quite problematic, as Bill Belichick‘s girlfriend was standing nearby listening to everything, and when she didn’t like something, she immediately showed her discomfort.

“While we don’t know the total number of interruptions, we do know that CBS decided to include this particular instance because it wasn’t a one-off,PFT noted.

“Jordon was a constant presence during our interview,” said CBSTony Dokoupil.

Bill only answered one question about his relationship, where he was asked about the criticism they receive.

“I’ve never let other people’s opinions affect me too much,”Belichick said when asked how he handles interest in his personal life. “I just try to do what I think is right and best for me.”
