On Tuesday night, the 73-year-old former Patriots and current Tar Heels head coach, Bill Belichick, and his 24-year-old partner, Jordon Hudson, attended Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils, catching the action at Lenovo Center.
The couple was photographed in a suite alongside Hurricanes president Doug Warf, watching as Carolina surged to a 2-0 lead in their opening-round series. The NHL’s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared the image, noting: “Bill Belichick ( @Belichick_B ) and Jordon Hudson are taking in the @Canes game tonight! #StanleyCup.”
In the photo, Belichick appeared well-dressed for the occasion in a blue sport coat, collared shirt and tie, and gray slacks. But while the football icon stuck with his signature stoic look, Hudson had a little fun with the moment on social media.
“Way to blend in, babe,” she wrote on her Instagram story, adding a blue heart and laughing emojis to poke fun at Belichick’s surprisingly formal outfit amid the more casual hockey crowd.
From NHL suite to birthday celebrations in Carolina
The hockey outing follows a recent string of public appearances by the high-profile couple, whose 49-year age gap has sparked plenty of conversation since their relationship was confirmed in 2024. Most recently, Belichick and Hudson celebrated their birthdays together with a private party in North Carolina.
Boston-based photographer Vail Fucci captured the event and shared details of the celebration on Instagram, offering a rare inside look at their dynamic.
“It ended up being such a lovely evening and it was so great to see the two of them smiling ear to ear, happy as larks together all night,” Fucci wrote. “When the event was over we sat down on the couch and waxed poetic about bioethics issues, just like old times, and Bill even joined us. It was the perfect way to end the night.”
