Olympic gold medalist gymnast Jordan Chiles caused a sensation after her surprise exchange with Caitlin Clark when she attended the American Airlines Center for the game between the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings earlier this month and another game between the Seattle Storm.

Now, the 24-year-old athlete has announced the next game she will attend, exciting Indiana fans.

Chiles surprises with her announcement

An avid WNBA fan, the gymnast has stated that she has a personalized cap for each team. In fact, when she shared a fun moment with Clark, the Fever star pointed out that she was wearing a Dallas Wings cap, “but I’ll let it slide… No, just kidding. It’s cool!

In addition, of course, there is the difference in height between Clark, who is 6 feet tall, and Chiles, who is just under 5 feet tall, as seen in the photo shared by the WNBA.

Now, the league has shared a video with its more than 3.4 million followers on Instagram announcing her upcoming appearance:

Yes, so the next game I have is August 22nd. The Indiana Fever. I’m really excited about that.

In addition, Jordan revealed the special detail that will accompany her and show her support for the WNBA teams and their players: “My best friend actually makes all of my hats. She customizes them to how she feels like the team is, and so it’s really cool to go from game to game.”

Chiles will be present at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Fever’s matchup against the Minnesota Lynx, the current league leaders with a record of 25 wins and only 5 losses.

After her announcement, Indiana fans went wild and left comments on her post:

This is why I love @jordanchiles ! True fan and supporter,” said one follower. “Jordan is just too adorable and an incredible athlete in her own right, can’t wait to see her in an Indiana Fever hat,” said another user. “We love a WNBA TOUR,” said a third. “The ultimate fan! Love to see it,” commented another fan.

Although Indiana just lost to the Los Angeles Sparks and snapped their five-game winning streak, they have managed to thrive without Caitlin, who has missed eight games due to a groin injury.

While Fever coach Stephanie White said the point guard’s recovery is “going well,” CC’s long-term health is a priority, and they want to be cautious and make sure she is “100 percent before we put her back on the floor.”

Clark has already missed 17 games for the Fever this regular season, and there is no certainty that she will play against the Lynx when Chiles attends the game. Nor is there any certainty that she will be able to participate in the next game against the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday, August 7, at PHX Arena.
