Jake Paul’s name as an opponent began to be of interest to several boxers after seeing the attractive purse generated by his exhibition fight in which he brought the legendary Mike Tyson out of retirement and easily defeated him.

Then suitors rained down to get into the ring against the YouTuber-turned-boxer, even Saul Alvarez was close to agreeing a fight, which fell through after he arranged a lavish $400 million four-fight deal with Riyadh Season, under the command of His Excellency Turki Alalshikh. This began with a dull win over William Scull in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will continue on September 12 in Las Vegas, with the duel against Terence Crawford.

American boxer Jermall Charlo has admitted he would be willing to face Jake Paul, during an interview with TMZ Sports to promote his fight against Thomas LaManna on May 31. However, he considered it unlikely that it could be closed, as he believes that The Problem Child would not want to get into the ring with someone like him

“Jake Paul wouldn’t want to fight a boxer like me,” Jarmall Charlo told TMZ Sports, while adding, “Jake and I are very good friends. We are colleagues.”

Jarmall Charlo ends the prestige of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

In addition to putting himself on a pedestal as an opponent that Jake Paul would fear, Charlo went further with a blunt statement in which he minimized Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., saying that his career as a boxer is over and he is only looking for the profits he will get from facing Jake Paul.

“Julio Cesar Chavez is finished,” said Jarmall Charlo and finished with a harsh message for the son of the legendary ‘Boxing Caesar’: “He came back for a fight with Jake Paul because he likes the name and the money. Jake Paul, the YouTubers, are fine financially. It looks good on his resume if he can beat Chavez.”
