Jennifer Lopez has finally broken her silence on one of the most talked-about celebrity rumors of the past few years.

During a lighthearted round of “Plead the Fifth” on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the pop icon was asked about the speculation that her breakup with Alex Rodriguez was connected to his alleged online exchanges with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy.

Lopez handled the moment with her trademark mix of humor and confidence. When Cohen pressed her for an answer, she simply smiled and replied, “You know, I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore,” before adding with a laugh, “I feel like I’m done with that.”

Her calm response drew loud cheers from the studio audience, prompting her to flash a grin and cheer, “Yes! Support!” It was a fitting reaction for an artist who has spent decades balancing a public career with the scrutiny of her private life.

Revisiting the A-Rod and LeCroy rumors

Lopez and Rodriguez began dating in 2017 after meeting at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Their romance quickly turned high-profile, with the pair often appearing together on red carpets and blending their families.

“They were really into each other because they have so much in common,” a source told Page Six at the time. Two years later, they announced their engagement during a trip to the Bahamas.

Their wedding plans were postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic, but cracks in the relationship surfaced in early 2021 when Southern Charm cast member Danni Baird claimed that LeCroy had FaceTimed with Rodriguez. The reality star’s alleged connection with the former Yankees player became a major topic of gossip across social media.

At the time, an insider close to Rodriguez denied any wrongdoing but acknowledged that he might have interacted with LeCroy online.

“Look, does this mean he didn’t DM her and liked a photo or two? I guess not, but he doesn’t know her – and he definitely didn’t hook up with her,” the source told The Post.

LeCroy later addressed the rumors directly during the Southern Charm Season 7 reunion, where Andy Cohen questioned her about the situation. She confirmed that she had communicated with a baseball player through Instagram but maintained that nothing romantic happened.

“I never flew to Miami,” she said, referring to the city where Rodriguez was living with Lopez at the time.
