Jake Paul is already emboldened, and after his victory over Mike Tyson last November at the Cowboys Stadium, The Problem Child is looking for a rival, a call that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. answered.

After this fight, Chavez Jr. raised his hand to be Paul’s next opponent, and challenged him through social networks.

“Jake you say you can fight whoever you want! Which is probably true, for the money! But you wouldn’t fight someone who knows how to fight (like Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.) It’s time, Jake.”

The controversial YouTuber and businessman’s response took a few weeks to arrive, but Jake Paul finally responded to Chavez’s challenge in an interview with Boxing Scene.

I want someone tougher than Chavez. I want a real belt, not something that is just put on for entertainment. It’s great and all that, but honestly, he’s an easy fighter and I want someone tougher to shut people up.”

Paul even mentioned that he will choose a rival regardless of what the rankings of the different boxing organizations mention.

“F**k the rankings. It’s just a number, who cares? People just want to rank things and do rankings. I never look at the rankings, I couldn’t care less. I know I’m the best in the world and I’ll become world champion.”

The influencer made it clear that there are several renowned pugilists who want to face him, and he is willing to attend to all of them, no matter what he has to pay.

“They can take a turn and get in line to see who I want to fight. I’m not saying this to provoke, I offer the biggest payday in boxing, so everyone wants to fight me.”
