Jake Paulis about to step into the ring against Mike Tysonand before the fight of the century takes place, we tell you about the countless controversies of the YouTuber whose most popular nickname is Problem Child. The 27-year-old is very popular on YouTube and spends his time provoking his rivals.

Jake Paul’s biggest controversies

Paul’s biggest controversies and scandals are what continue to propel the YouTuber and boxer to fame and fortune. More than 20 million subscribers tune into his channels to watch his antics and, although he was kicked off Disney Channel in 2017, Paul has leveraged his bad reputation to further his career.

Now, the creator is making a name for himself in the boxing world. He has defeated Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva, among others, but also generated a lot of controversy when he challenged Canelo Alvarez.

In an interview with Insider sports correspondent Alan Dawson, Paul said that “boxing just feels different” to him than YouTube, acting and music. “I wake up every day with fire in my belly,” Paul said. “That’s where the passion, hard work and dedication comes from.”

This is how Paul became simultaneously one of the most popular and hated YouTubers, from his rise to notoriety on the short-form video platform Vine in 2013, and even earned his expulsion from Disney as part of that group of famous kids.

According to Paul, what caused his firing was a local TV news segment about his YouTube channel, which was the real-life version of “Dare Me Bro“, less Disney-friendly. KTLA 5 visited the West Hollywood neighborhood where Paul lived in July 2017 and interviewed Paul’s neighbors about his YouTube antics. They were extremely disgusted.

He even makes videos opening $10,000 packs of trading cards and earns criticism for his lavish and expensive lifestyle.

His neighbors called his home a “living hell” and a “war zone.” After Paul leaked his own address online, fans flocked to the area and, by that time, his Beverly Grove neighbors were fed up. Paul’s neighbors met with police and city officials to discuss the possibility of a class action lawsuit for disorderly conduct, and the company that owned Paul’s house sued him for $2.5 million.
