The United States WWE champion Logan Paul finally married his fiancée as he and Nina Agdal exchanged their vows in a private ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, on August 15, but it was Jake Paul who stole the show once again.
The picturesque wedding, held at the same location where Logan proposed in July 2023, was a joyful and intimate gathering of family and close friends, surprisingly modest compared to his usual showmanship.
Among the attendees were the couple’s 10-month-old daughter, Esme, brother Jake and Jake’s fiancée Jutta Leerdam. Emotional highlights from the ceremony were shared on social media by the younger brother, who is a professional boxer.
“I’ve seriously been crying,” Jake said as he posted clips to Instagram of the ceremony, which featured a personal touch, as Paul’s Impaulsive podcast co-host, Mike Majlak, officiated the wedding.
However, the celebration took an unexpected turn when Jake transformed the couple’s wedding cake into a temporary punching bag with the approval of Logan, who was seen encouraging his sibling enthusiastically.
Known for taking on unconventional opponents like Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and even Mike Tyson, Jake found a new target in the wedding dessert – and as ever, it was a typically easy fight against for the 28-year-old.
A video shared by Jake with the caption, “Jake or Cake?” shows him delivering repeated punches to the large, multi-tiered cake while the crowd cheered and the encounter ended on a warm note, as the brothers embraced after the cake destruction.
The wedding was just one milestone in Logan Paul‘s busy summer. The former WWE United States Champion is also scheduled to appear in John Cena’s retirement tour, with their one-on-one bout set for WWE’s Clash in Paris on August 31.
Anthony Joshua must beat Jake Paul to set up Tyson Fury clash
The heavyweight boxing landscape continues to generate massive interest as Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Jake Paul dominate headlines, with the trio in closer proximity than they might actually realise.
Joshua, who suffered a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September, has been linked to multiple high-profile bouts as he seeks a path back to the top after his reign as unified champion came to an end in 2021.
One of the most anticipated matchups in British boxing history remains AJ versus Fury, a fight that has been discussed for years but has yet to materialize following a series of failed negotiations and poor schedule alignments.
But before a potential Fury clash, Joshua is reportedly prioritizing a fight against Jake Paul, whose unconventional rise from social media star to professional boxer has captured global attention.
Should AJ fail to deliver a convincing win there, it’s likely that his run as a credible fighter in boxing will come to an end – although he boasts a ridiculous talent and experience gap over Paul.
“Providing Tyson wants to carry on,” Frank Warren said of a meeting with AJ. “I can see that fight happening.
“It’s up to the two fighters to make it happen, but nobody will force them into it.”
