Golden State Warriors started the NBA Playoffs in the best way: they achieved an important victory over Houston Rockets by 95-85 at the Toyota Center.
Stephen Curry stole the show in the Warriors’ first Playoffs game. He grabbed 6 rebounds, gave three assists, made 5 three-pointers and scored 31 points. And Jimmy Butler‘s performance also stood out with 25 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals. Yes, together they scored more than 50% of the total points.
This did not go unnoticed by the fans and much less by the team. Using their social networks, the official Golden State Warriors account sent a strong message: “One down. Three to go.”
Thus, they made it clear that they hope to repeat the victory in the coming dates and that this was just the beginning.
The Warriors’ secret formula
Golden State came from failing to qualify for the NBA Playoffs last year. This season, the team managed to make a leap and clinch the berth and, in part, it is thanks to the Curry-Bulter duo.

As we mentioned, Steph at 37 years old continues to give us shows of great caliber. And age is not an impediment since Butler, at 35, forms an explosive duo with Curry. Since his arrival, he and Steph have achieved an unmatched chemistry and quickly adapted to the system proposed by Steve Kerr.
