Gisele Bündchen celebrated another year of life with her family and in nature.
The Brazilian model, who was born on July 20, 1980, in Rio Grande do Sul, turned 45 last Sunday. However, it wasn’t until Wednesday that she shared 13 photos on her official Instagram account about her special day.
This is how Bündchen celebrated her 45th birthday
With more than 22.9 million followers, Gisele opened her heart and accompanied the photos with a warm and thoughtful message:
“Haven’t been around here much, but I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the warm birthday wishes. I’m so grateful for another trip around the sun and even more grateful to have spent it in nature, surrounded by love and my family,” she began.
And she wasn’t the only one celebrating. In the first photo, she is seen with her twin sister, Patricia, both smiling and holding a birthday cake.
Surrounded by the natural landscapes of her hometown, as she specified in her post, Gisele is seen enjoying a waterfall with Vivian, her 13-year-old daughter with Tom Brady (along with her 16-year-old son Benjamin).
Similarly, Bündchen shared some photos featuring her 5-month-old son, whose name has not been revealed, whom she shares with her partner, Joaquim Valente. The little boy is seen in his mother’s arms while sharing a moment with his grandfather and Gisele’s father, Valdir Bündchen, and in a group family photo, with a heart emoji covering his face.
In another photo, he appears with his back to the camera next to his mother in a cream-colored baby carrier, as they both look at a waterfall. Gisele also included a lovely birthday card she received from her son with his little footprint on it.
In her post, the model also took the time to remember her mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, who passed away in January last year at the age of 75: “Today is also my mom’s birthday. We miss her deeply, but we know she’s always with us,” she wrote, adding a black-and-white photo of her to close the post.
“I continue to trust and welcome life with an open heart, holding gratitude for all that is still to come. Sending love to everyone,” Bündchen said to end her birthday message, along with a red heart emoji.
