For a few days now, Gervonta Davis and Terence Crawford have been feuding since X. It seems that ‘Tank’ was a little upset about not being invited to the Ring Magazine gala. The fighter took the opportunity to badmouth several of the attendees, his publications ended up eliminating them in a matter of minutes, but we already know that the internet does not forget and there will always be more than one who took screenshots.
Bud Crawford didn’t stay quiet, he found the perfect scenario to make the Baltimore native angry: “I see somebody mad they wasn’t invited to the Ring Magazine gala”, Terence posted on his X account. It was enough to make Gervonta lose his mind.
Fight for money
The argument between the 2 boxers turned into a war over who had more money. They definitely hated each other and started to raise the tension with their comments. “And I still make more than you,” Gervonta said to Bud. To which Crawford pointed out that his legacy was all about money and not making a difference at the highest level of boxing. And we should remember that they already had a grudge against each other when Davis sided with his friend Errol Spence Jr. against Terence during their rivalry before their fight in 2023.
Gervonta Davis throws a very low blow
The fight at X was starting to die down, but Gervonta decided to follow up with a post that showed a clear low blow by picking on someone who had no business being on the topic.
“And he got like 8 kids and his wife like 380 lbs..yea buddy gotta work overtime,” was Tank’s nasty tweet that he ended up deleting only a few minutes later.
The internet did its thing and retrieved it, and to no one’s surprise, the boxer was criticized for bringing in the family.
“@Gervontaa insecure he fighting Lamont roach while @terencecrawford getting a Nelo fight tank know deep down he needa fight big dogs but all the smoke with Turki Crawford fighting top dogs and getting to that cheese.”
“Yeah he crossed a major line with that tweet.”
“Tank deletes all his defamatory tweets. He throw’s shots, then hides his hands. A 30 year old man acting like this. Pathetic.”
They were part of the criticism of the Baltimore fighter on X.
The truth is that Gervonta is preparing for his fight with Lamont Roach Jr. and Crawford could finally get his long awaited fight with Canelo, we’ll see if the negotiations with Turki are on track.
