“The NBA should protect and value women, many of whom work hard every day to make this the best basketball league in the world. “Cardi B is filling stadiums and her past is that. I don’t think she has self-esteem issues.”

Green disagrees with Kornet’s implicit stance that adult entertainment does not protect or value women.

The Warriors power forward argued that “Cardi B is filling stadiums and her past is that. I don’t think Cardi B has self-esteem issues.”

“So I think that’s a negative view of women working in this industry; that, by choosing this job, they have self-esteem issues,” she said.

Draymond Green argued that the adult entertainment industry is an important part of Atlanta’s culture: “To say that much of Atlanta’s culture reflects poorly on the NBA as a community, I completely disagree, because the NBA as a community is very inclusive.”
