Four Chilean immigrants who overstayed their visas are now the prime suspects in the December 9, 2024, case of the break-in at Joe Burrow‘s home, which was burglarized during the game in which the Cincinnati Bengals played in Arlington, Texas, against the Dallas Cowboys on a Monday night.
Cincinnati television station WLWT reported Monday that the four Chileans were stopped by an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer on IR-70 on January 10, after violating traffic lanes, outkick.com reported.

The group had two automatic punches in the glove compartment that were used to break into houses. A Bengals and LSU T-shirt was recovered among the suspects’ belongings, who are: Jordan Sanchez, Bastian Morales, Sergio Cabello and Alexander Chavez.
During the traffic stop, three of the four men used fake IDs and their vehicle had Florida plates. A search warrant linked one of the phones seized from the illegal Chileans to a recent visit to Hamilton County, specifically on December 9, the same day they robbed Burrow’s house.
The four men face multiple charges, including “engaging in a criminal gang, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, obstructing official business and possessing criminal tools,” according to WLWT.
NFL players robbed this season
The robbery at Joe Burrow’s house shocked the entire league, being just the latest in a series of robberies affecting several NFL players.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs also suffered robberies throughout the season.
As a result, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has vowed to beef up security at his home to fend off any burglars who target his house.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott also reinforced his home’s defense after his fiancée had property stolen from her car.
Burrow became the center of attention for all the wrong reasons after the robbery at his home in Hamilton County. Things got even crazier when the police report came out, which revealed that Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton was at Burrow’s residence and discovered a broken window in the Bengals quarterback’s room.
Burrow told the media that he felt the thieves violated his privacy.
“I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” Burrow said, “and there’s already a lot more than I’d like to know and I’d like to share.”
