Floyd Mayweather is once again showing that his nickname “Money” still rings true. The undefeated boxing icon turned heads on Tuesday as he was seen holding large stacks of cash while on a shopping spree with longtime partner Gallienne Nabila in Los Angeles.
Mayweather, 47, was photographed gripping wads of hundred-dollar bills in both hands as he exited luxury retailer Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, joined by Nabila, a fashion model and swimwear designer.
The couple later left the upscale store and hopped into a brand-new Cadillac Escalade, continuing their day out in high style.
A relationship that has endured years in the spotlight
Mayweather and Nabila have shared an on-and-off relationship that dates back to 2019. Known for her presence on Instagram, where she has close to two million followers, Nabila has been a consistent figure in Mayweather‘s public life despite his previous high-profile romances.
The boxing great has a well-documented history of relationships since parting ways with ex-wife Josie Harris in 2010, the same year he served time in jail for a domestic violence conviction involving Harris. Tragically, Harris died in 2020 after being found unresponsive in her car in California.
After initially being linked to Nabila, Mayweather was seen dating Anna Monroe in 2020, the lead performer at his Las Vegas gentlemen’s club, “Girl Collection.” Yet by 2021, he appeared to have rekindled his relationship with Nabila, with the pair photographed together on multiple occasions in New York and Los Angeles.
They’ve been spotted courtside at NBA games and on lavish trips. Nabila has even posted photos showing off a diamond ring on social media, though neither she nor Mayweather has confirmed an engagement. In 2022, The Sun reported that Mayweather gifted her a luxury Mercedes Maybach for her birthday, to which she wrote, “Overflowing with love,” alongside a photo posing with roses in front of the car.
Denying financial trouble amid lavish lifestyle
Despite his extravagant public appearances, Mayweather recently felt compelled to address rumors about his finances. A report questioning the legitimacy of a $400 million real estate deal in New York led to speculation that he might be experiencing monetary issues.
He pushed back forcefully, saying at The Real Deal’s NYC Forum in May: “Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but if that’s what you call having two private jets, owning 100 buildings, and being able to do what you want, then I’m pretty sure everybody is going bankrupt.”
Estimates of Mayweather‘s net worth vary, with figures ranging from several hundred million to over $1 billion. Regardless, his boxing career remains unmatched in financial terms, having earned a record-setting $1.1 billion in fight purses alone.
Since retiring in 2017 following his blockbuster bout with UFC star Conor McGregor, he has remained active through exhibition matches and promoting boxing events.
Mayweather‘s latest Beverly Hills outing is just another example of his commitment to living large, both inside and outside the ring.
