Aaron Rodgers‘ future in the NFL is uncertain, and an intriguing destination could be the Pittsburgh Steelers. At 41 years old, injuries and inconsistency with the New York Jets have raised doubts about his abilities.

Rodgers‘ time in New York is something they will want to forget. It was not a good move for either side. The Jets made the decision to part ways with Aaron, and the reality is that it was a good decision for the franchise.

Aaron has not lost his head and is taking all the time in the world to choose his next destination. For now, he has only one suitor, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and fans are eagerly awaiting any news as they are not thrilled about this possible move.

It’s not just Steelers fans; NFL insiders aren’t too keen on giving Aaron Rodgers another chance. Critics have been hammering him for his poor performance, and patience is wearing thin in the football world.

Calls for Steelers not to sign Rodgers

NFL expert Mike Florio had been one of Aaron Rodgers‘ defenders, asking for patience and time for the quarterback, but he has changed his mind and left some strong words.

“Previously, my stance on Aaron Rodgers was simple: one, the Vikings should say no; and two, the Steelers should say yes,”Florio wrote. “I’ve revised my opinion”.

“The Steelers should walk away. Aaron Rodgers is not currently good enough to justify the Aaron Rodgers Experience. We were reminded of that on Thursday, when he settled scores, voiced his grievances, and pretended he didn’t want the attention that naturally came with weeks of deliberate silence,” the NBC expert shared.

In a possible scenario where the Steelers back out of a potential move for Aaron Rodgers, they already have a plan B.

The Pittsburgh team would look to Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss or Shedeur Sanders of Colorado. Keep in mind, the possible arrival of Rodgers is not 100% ruled out, but many in the organization want to put that plan behind them.

Fans are hoping that the news of a possible move will be forgotten, as they do not see Rodgers as a solution to the major problems facing the franchise.
