Eddie Hearn confirms Bivol will do what Turki Alalshikh orders: “He doesn’t care if the WBC takes the title away from him”

Eddie Hearn justifies Bivol in going for trilogy

In a chat with Seconds Out,Eddie began to give more details of the deal that Dmitry has with Turki and makes it very clear that this is the way to go

“Turki gave him, most importantly, the fight against Beterbiev for undisputed. After that, which we consider a bad decision, he gave Bivol the rematch four months later. So, we are doing what His Excellency tells us for the next fight,” were the blunt words of the English promoter

Eddie already seems to be getting an idea that the WBC is going to take a championship away from Bivol, but he gave it little importance and says that if they do, they do not care at all

“I guess it’s down to how we handle the Bivol-Beterbiev 1. I hope it’s the trilogy fight. If His Excellency says, ‘I want you to fight David Benavidez’, no problem. Time is running out and the WBC could interfere

The WBC gave Bivol’s team an ultimatum to negotiate a fight against David Benavidez, that date ends on April 8, but there is still no response.

The offer is already on the table for Dmitry and he is not responding and does not seem to be interested in finalizing the fight

In this case, the situation is simple for both sides. If Bivol chooses to face Beterbiev again in a third fight, he could be forced to come to terms with Benavidez or vacate his WBC title
