Let’s be honest, the Kansas City Chiefs are pretty much a perfect team. They have it all, but with Xavier Worthy on offense, the 2025 aerial show will be pay-per-view worthy

This ingredient of playing in the air adds more gunpowder to an offense full of dynamite and that is masterfully directed by Patrick Mahomes. Worthy is now part of a trident where he, Mahomes and Rashee Rice are

Xavier Worthy’s meteoric rise with the Chiefs

Worthy could have dedicated himself to athletics, specifically the 100 meters. He is a natural, elite sprinter (4.2 in the 40-yard dash) and earned the starting job from Week 1

At the beginning his production was discreet, but little by little he gained confidence until he exploded in the last 11 games where he wreaked havoc. He had 58 receptions, 754 yards and seven touchdowns, culminating in the Super Bowl with eight receptions, 157 yards and two TDs.

Competition with Rashee Rice on the Chiefs

Rahsee Rice is back. Andy Reid‘s plan is to use Worthy in what he does best and has more versatility, running. If he can consolidate his attributes, he will be the third offensive option – behind Travis Kelce and Rice – and could become a solid WR2 in fantasy

We are talking about a player who, if Mahomes gives him enough volume, can become a star. It’s no small thing. And while there are factors inherent to the team, it will all depend on him and what he shows on the field every time he is put in the game

Worthy’s 2025 fantasy projection

In PPR formats, Worthy finished 2024 as WR33 (188.2 points), but with six games of at least eight targets and four of more than 20 points

Optimistic projections speak of 70 receptions, 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns, which would put him in the elite of young receivers.

Dynasty leagues: His value is on the rise. If you have him, hold on; if not, this is probably the cheapest time to get him before he explodes.
