Taylor Swift gave a fan the gift of a lifetime when she managed to get close to her on Sunday during the AFC Championship Game, where the Kansas City Chiefs earned another Super Bowl berth with a dramatic victory over the Buffalo Bills.
The fan, named Nicole Viscount, a 29-year-old waitress from Rehoboth Beach, went viral on social media after she attended the game with her fiance Craig Parmenter as special guests of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason, a former Philadelphia Eagles player.

In an interview with Delaware Online, Viscount revealed that she has been a ‘Swiftie‘ since she was 11 years old. She also said that she attended one of her concerts when she was a teenager, so when she knew that she would be in the same box as her idol, she said that she would seek to stay “calm, cool and collected” when she entered the Kelce family box at Arrowhead Stadium, where the singer goes with her boyfriend’s family to watch the Chiefs’ games
Her boyfriend, 36, a former offensive tackle at the University of Cincinnati, was a teammate with the Bearcats and roommate of the Kelce brothers in their college days.
“I’ll probably cry right now just thinking about it. I’ll probably never wash my face again,” Viscount admitted, who nevertheless attended the game in a defiant Eagles beanie. When she saw her, the singer approached her and said: “Hi, I’m Taylor,” as if the world didn’t know who she was. Nicole also pretended to be calm and said she refrained from telling the 14-time Grammy Award winner that she had been her idol since she was a child
“But I think she could probably tell just by looking into my eyes,” said the excited fan. She also said that Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, who is a staunch Eagles fan, recognized her for wearing a hat of the team he loves and the same one Taylor wore before she began her relationship with Travis Kelce. Swift grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania.

After the game, Nicol shared the photo on her Instagram account and captioned it: “meet my best friend, her name is Taylor” with a pink heart emoji. Swift’s social media aggregators then reposted the image, which immediately went viral, and explained that: “this fan is living my dream”.Viscount also recounted that Swift behaved like an understanding girlfriend when Kelce entered the suite to celebrate the victory, after the game and a new pass to the Super Bowl:
“Once he was in the room, all she did was follow him around to take pictures of him with his family and friends, make sure he had something to drink and that he was having a good time. She was the literal definition of a happy, understanding girlfriend,” said the lucky witness.
Viscount met the Kelce brothers last April during a recording of their podcast “New Heights” which they recorded during Cincinnati’s alumni weekend, thanks to an invitation from Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, who hosted the couple at their home in the Philadelphia suburbs.
They then attended the recording of Jason’s late-night television show on ESPN, “They Call It Late Night” and then went to a stand-up show.
The next day, they received a police escort to Lincoln Financial Field and hung out at Xfinity Live with Jason and finally joined Kelce and traveled on a private jet to Kansas City, where they witnessed the Chiefs’ 32-29 victory.
“We actually missed the Eagles game because their plane still doesn’t have Wi-Fi, which was a bit annoying,” Viscount joked.
