After a noisy offseason, the Golden State Warriors are stepping into the new season with confidence and a few fresh faces. The front office didn’t just shuffle the deck – they added veteran big man Al Horford and brought in Jimmy Butler to strengthen both ends of the floor. For a team that already has Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, it feels like another shot at a title isn’t out of reach.

In a recent sit-down with ESPN’s Malika Andrews, Draymond Green made it clear he believes the Warriors are built to win again.

“When I talk about winning four rings, I’m at a loss for words,” Green said. “It takes you back. But we know what it takes to get it done. If we stay healthy, I don’t see any team out there that we can’t beat.”

That kind of talk isn’t new for Green – but this time, it sounds grounded in experience rather than hype. The 35-year-old forward has seen every version of success and struggle the NBA can offer. With Horford’s veteran IQ and Butler’s two-way energy, Golden State looks like a team ready to mix old wisdom with new hunger.

Building for Now and the Future

While the veterans headline the story, third-year guard Brandin Podziemski is writing his own chapter. Speaking with Nick Friedell of The Athletic, he said he’s focused on earning the trust of the team’s legends and eventually carrying the torch.

“When they leave this thing, they have to leave it with somebody,”Podziemski said. “I want that to be me.”

Podziemski’s steady progress, averaging over 10 points and 5 rebounds last season, has given Steve Kerr confidence in the team’s balance between experience and youth.

As Kerr told The TK Show earlier this month, he isn’t planning to retire anytime soon. “I love what I do,” he said. “We’re not done yet.”

If Curry, Green, Horford, and Butler stay healthy, Golden State has the depth and championship knowledge to compete with anyone in the Western Conference. The core knows what winning feels like, and they’re not ready to let that go.
