Just a week away from assuming the presidency of the United States for the second time, Donald Trump showed that his golfing prowess remains intact at the age of 78 and left everyone speechless last Sunday by winning the Senior Club Championship, at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, with an impressive round of 68, four under par.

The tournament was held at the prestigious course near his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, where the US president-elect defeated his competitors by a margin of at least four strokes.

Although Trump had not previously announced his participation, his name appeared at the top of the leaderboard, causing surprise among attendees and followers of the event.

With an estimated handicap of 2.5, Trump has always boasted of his golfing ability. On previous occasions, he even joked about his skills with current US President Joe Biden during their only election debate, which generated a funny interaction between the two.

Trump plays golf after New York ruling

Everyone knows that one of Trump’s favorite pastimes is golf, and last week he was also spotted at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, hours after the court session in New York

Trump seemed unconcerned by the events in court, where Judge Juan Merchan issued a sentence in the Manhattan Supreme Court against the US tycoon

On Friday, Judge Merchan handed down a ruling granting US President-elect Donald Trump “unconditional freedom” in the case related to falsifying business records to cover up a hush-money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election

This decision means that Trump will not face prison or probation, despite being convicted by a jury of 34 felony counts.

With this, Trump became the first US president to receive a criminal conviction.
