The dispute outside the ring continues between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney to begin to agree on an eventual rematch for after April 20, 2025, when KingRy will serve the one-year suspension imposed by the New York Athletic Commission for testing positive for Ostarine in the first fight against The Dream.

Ryan Garcia was in London this weekend for the The Ring magazine awards ceremony, where he told Seconds Out that he is willing to fight a rematch, but the Haney team must drop the lawsuit.

“The only way you’re going to get any respect is to fight me again and try to do better. I would be willing to do a rematch, but a lot of things have to happen the way I need them to happen. Haney needs to drop the lawsuit,” said KingRy, adding that he will not be tested at VADA.

Haney’s father attacks Ryan Garcia on social media

It is well known how easily Ryan Garcia can provoke his rivals on social media when he wants to and he took advantage of his stay in London to launch a post against the Haneys that immediately found a response.

“I came here on business, Bill. You’re going to get that call… Shut up, accept the deal, drop the lawsuit and do as you’re told, bum,” Ryan Garcia posted alongside a video of Bill and Devin Haney leaving the The Ring awards.

From the X accounts of Bill and Devin Haney, they demanded that Ryan stop lying, that he received the call from Sheikh Turki Alalshikh, as well as reminding him that he must take the VADA drug test.

“Enough lies! You already got the call from Turki, so tell the world the truth. We all agreed that the winner takes all. It’s time to piss or get off the pot… A businessman who came to London hiding behind another 10 leaders,” Devin Haney posted on X, while in another post from Bill Haney’s account it added: “Oh, now he’s a businessman? We already received our offer from @Turki_alalshikh and we accepted it. Now it’s time for you to accept it and yes, you have to start doing drug testing now. So let’s hear your answer, ‘businessman’.”
