Shedeur Sanders’ future in theNFL is far from being set, although Deion Sanders has come out to reveal what destination he would like for his son who is ready to wow at the Quarterback position.

The team Deion Sanders wants for Shedeur

During the ProMat conference, the Colorado Head Coach was asked about which team he thinks will draft in the 2025 NFL Draft for his son, choosing one destination where he would indeed fall well.

“Hopefully New York,” Sanders commented, presumably referring to the New York Giants.

The New York Giants would be one of the top picks heading into the draft in April. The team has the number 3 selection and they are looking for a Quarterback. A few days ago they gave a contract to Jameis Winston, but they still believe they can choose to select another player at the controls for this season.

This is not the first time the Giants and Sanders have been linked, in fact the team’s general manager, Joe Schoen, was present at several of Colorado’s games last season, and they even met.

Schoen also praised Sanders, telling reporters in February that the quarterback is a “great guy” with “a really good personality.”

“He’s a bit of a cliché, but he meets all the requirements of a [player with a] father who is a soccer coach and the passion with which he approaches the game,” Schoen added.

The connection between the franchise and Sanders seems logical and in several mock drafts, the Giants have him for their selection at the third overall pick, although nothing is set in stone.

Now, there is also the possibility that Deion Sanders was referring to the Jets and not the Giants, but this comes down to rumors after seeing how they signed Justin Fields in early March with plans to give him the starting job.

The world of alternatives that exist in this regard will be resolved in April, where we will know the future of these future stars.

“JuJu Watkins is being evaluated by the USC Keck Medicine staff and will not return to competition in tonight’s NCAA second-round game, USC said via a statement on social media “X.”
