Only a couple of days separate us from the most anticipated boxing rematch, Dmitry Bivol vs. Artur Beterbiev for the undisputed light heavyweight championship from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Both boxers want to put the controversy behind them once and for all and will be looking to win by knockout to leave no doubt. The first fight in October last year ended in controversy on the judges’ scorecard, as some saw Bivol winning, but the final result was not so.

Sources reveal that, in the contracts for this rematch, there is no rematch clause, whatever happens, that’s where it will stay. It may sound a bit strange, because if Bivol wins, Artur will not want to get that thorn out? He would have every right to do so as the winner of the first fight
In this case, Turki Alalshikh wants a third fight and to make it a trilogy in case Dmitry Bivol manages to win, but he would already be making other plans in case there is no rematch between the Russian boxers
‘El Monstruo’ is already traveling to Arabia by invitation of Turki
Sheikh Turki invited David Benavidez to Riyadh to watch the fight between Beterbiev and Bivol at ringside, and the intentions seem to be clear
There is a good chance that the winner will face ‘The Monster‘ in a future fight
Benavidez is coming off a 12-round unanimous decision win over David Morrell. It was not an easy fight, as it was complicated for several rounds, but he finally came out victorious. The future of the light heavyweight division will depend on what happens on Saturday, February 22
