There’s no doubt that Dave Roberts has found the formula to make the Los Angeles Dodgers champions on multiple occasions, though he also has an impressive knack for infuriating his entire fanbase. That said, this time he contradicted himself but ended up making more than a few fans very happy.

“Obviously, there are potential opportunities to upgrade the roster, and we’re always looking to do that. But there’s really no big splash we feel needs to be made because this team is still focused – and there’s some talk about a three-peat.”

The Dodgers didn’t just improve their roster with the arrival of Edwin Díaz, one of the best arms available on the market, who signed for three years and $69 million.

They also re-signed Miguel Rojas and expect Enrique Hernández to remain with the team as well. Evan Phillips could return on a short-term deal while he recovers from injury.
