Shohei Ohtani is one of those players who doesn’t need to be showered with more adulation, but a few compliments never hurt. At least that’s probably what Dalton Rushing thought, as he declared the honor he feels to be partnered with the Japanese player and one of the privileges he enjoys.
During an interview with Rob Bradford, a Boston Red Sox expert, Rushing made comments about Ohtani’s overall performance, but most importantly, he commented on how complete he is as a player and the importance of MLB having someone like him. Shohei Ohtani has the freedom to direct his pitches
The promising Los Angeles Dodgers catcher, considered Will Smith’s successor, revealed that Ohtani has the freedom to direct his own pitches. Traditionally, catchers are primarily responsible for calling pitches in MLB games

The Dodgers have set their sights on two of the Red Sox’s top prospects: Brandon Clarke and Franklin Arias. Both players have shown impressive potential in the minor leagues, and their inclusion in a possible trade could be the key piece the Dodgers need to bolster their lineup and remain contenders in the National League.
