NFL fans attending Thanksgiving games this year will find a wide selection of seasonal dishes as stadiums introduce holiday-inspired menus to complement the on-field festivities.
At Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, Levy Restaurants has developed a range of offerings that bring classic Thanksgiving flavors into the game day setting.
The company, which manages food and beverage service for the stadium, shared a preview of what attendees can expect.
Turkey remains at the center of the holiday lineup. Supporters will be able to purchase turkey legs served with cornbread dressing and cranberry barbecue sauce. Those looking for a more creative option can try Fourth and Feast Fries, a dish of waffle fries topped with turkey, cheese curds, gravy, cranberry drizzle and crispy onions.
A signature item linked to running back Jahmyr Gibbs will also be available. His Spin Dash combo features a pepperoni pizza smashburger paired with golden ring tater tots and blue Sour Patch Kids.
Holiday sweets and themed drinks added to the fan experience
Ford Field will also offer a number of dessert options, including peach cobbler and gumbo, sweet potato cheesecake, Pumpkin Biscoff Ice Cream Pie and a white chocolate pumpkin snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich.
Seasonal beverages will be part of the menu as well, such as a cocktail named “No Pack, No,” a reference to the Green Bay Packers that includes rum, apple liqueur, lime juice and pineapple juice.
Fans attending the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium will find similar Thanksgiving-inspired items.
In collaboration with Legends Global, the venue will offer a Thanksgiving Roll filled with herb dressing, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and house-smoked turkey wrapped in a fried egg roll shell.
Another option, the Thanksgiving Hand Pie, features smoked turkey, cranberry sauce, green beans, sweet potatoes and dressing enclosed within a pie crust and served with turkey gravy.
These additions reflect the league’s ongoing effort to bring seasonal cuisine to supporters attending holiday games.
With an array of traditional and inventive dishes on the menu, fans are set to enjoy a full Thanksgiving atmosphere alongside the football action.
