Dak Prescott, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, is once again at the center of the conversation, not only for his performance on the field, but also for his activity off it.

Recently, the quarterback appeared in a viral video where he took part in a recreational round of golf alongside other Dallas Cowboys players.

The recording, titled Good Good vs Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, showed Prescott relaxed, smiling and away from the usual pressure of the NFL, which provoked different reactions among Cowboys fans.

While one sector defends the quarterback, pointing out that he is enjoying his free time in a healthy way, another sector lashes out at him, criticizing his performance on the field.

Criticism of Dak Prescott

In social networks, images were shared of Dak dressed in casual clothes, practicing his swing on the field reviving criticism of the Cowboys’ CB, criticism that is not new, as Prescott has been constantly questioned for his performance in the postseason

Despite having outstanding statistics in the regular season, his record in the playoffs is just 2-5, with a passer rating that drops noticeably in key moments.

That’s why analyst Kimberly Martin was clear in stating that as the highest-paid quarterback in the league, with an average annual salary of $60 million, Prescott has an obligation to prove his worth in the biggest games.

For his part, former player LeSean McCoy was even more blunt: “If Dak has another postseason like he always does, he should look for a realtor, because Joe Milton can play,” referring to Dallas’ backup quarterback

Dez Bryant defends Dak Prescott

Amid the noise, Prescott received support from an old acquaintance: Dez Bryant. The former Cowboys receiver, who was a teammate of Dak early in his career, commented on Instagram with a brief but meaningful message: “That’s crazy 4”.

Over the years, Bryant has shown support for Prescott, although he has also demanded more leadership from him. In February, for example, he expressed that Dak should adopt a firmer and less diplomatic attitude if he wants to lead the team to the Super Bowl.

“The day he starts making that four, he’ll have a chance to win the Super Bowl. I’d love to see it. To hell with all that superiority shit,” said Bryant

As one of the highest-paid athletes, the pressure for Dak Prescott to perform will be on his shoulders, however, the outlook for Dallas this season is promising as under the leadership of Brian Schottenheimer, the legendary team finally seems to be getting back on track.
