JuJu Watkins is the next big thing not only on college basketball but on women’s ball. Watkins has been nothing but short of spectacular for USC this season, cementing herself as the frontrunner for NCAAW National Player of the Year honors.

Analyst believe Watkins can create the same hype that Caitlin Clark had around herself during her time at Iowa. For that to happen the Big 10 regular season championship with USC will not be enough and Watkins will have to led the Trojan’s to a deep March Madness run for the crowd to rally behind her.

The Trojans are entering collegiate basketballs biggest month on a 7 game winning streak, which includes 2 statement making over UCLA. On the last five games between USC and UCLA, Watkins has scored at least 27 points on each game and she became the second player in this century to score 30 or more points in four consecutive games against the same opponent. The other player to do it? Caitlin Clark.
