Indiana Fever kicked off this WNBA season in the best way: defeating Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky 93-58 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Caitlin Clark led Indiana with a historic triple-double, 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. It was a sight to behold and not to be missed was Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery.

The assistant coach of the Butler University Bulldogs didn’t take his eyes off the showdown and, when it was over, he left us with a pleasant surprise.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Connor shared in his stories a post from Doni Nahmias, founder and creative director of clothing brand Nahmias, that hinted at an upcoming collaboration with the Fever as part of their MIRACLE ACADEMY capsule. McCaffery added no more than five fire emojis, but it was enough to confirm that Caitlin’s team will feature a special edition of her clothing line.

Nahmias had already released previews of what is her MIRACLE ACADEMY X NBA capsule with the New York Knicks, so it’s no surprise that she would include the Indiana Fever in a line referencing the WNBA. Additionally, on his Instagram stories, he shared a photo with Clark, who was sporting a red jacket from Nahmias’ collaboration with Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet for his Bob Dylan biopic, “A Complete Unknown.” In the post, Nahmias wrote: “Real one” added with emojis of a heart and a goat. “U Won’t beat me in horse ever again“.

Next step for Clark and Fever

Indiana prepares to host the Atlanta Dream at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday, May 20.

They will then face them again in an away game against the Atlanta Dream at State Farm Stadium on Thursday, May 22.
