Everything seems to indicate that the Thunder’s celebrations for being crowned NBA champions are continuing, as some Oklahoma players were invited to point guard Alex Caruso‘s wedding. Among the attendees, Chet Holmgren stood out, whom netizens condemned for dressing inappropriately at the event.

Over the weekend, Caruso married Haleigh Broucher in a ceremony in Houston, Texas. Broucher is an alumna of season 20 of the reality show “Big Brother,” currently in its 27th season. While Caruso and Broucher attended Texas A&M University, their relationship didn’t begin until after college.

“Dressed like a ’90s pimp” – user about Chet Holmgren

One of the teammates’ outfits was the one that drew ridicule and headlines. As the group posed for a photo, the image of the 7-foot-11 Chet Holmgren, dressed in a bold white suit with a brown shirt, sunglasses, and gold chains, caught the attention of users and even Thunder fans.

Social media went wild over the outfit, with many comparing him to various villainous characters. “Chet dressed like a Miami drug lord,” one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Another commented, “This bro dressed like a ’90s pimp.”

“Is Chet auditioning to be a gun dealer?” another user wondered. A user commented, “I thought he wasn’t supposed to wear white to a wedding or that was just a girl thing.” A different user said, “If I had seen this yesterday, I would have sworn Chet was trying to sell me jewelry at the mall”.
