After a month since the historic Roland Garros final between the two players who have inherited the Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic legacy – Jannik Sinner and this phenom Alcaraz – expectations are over the sky! Their first major final clash lasted 5 hours and 29 minutes in Paris, where Carlos saved three match points. This is the first Wimbledon men’s final without on of Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Novak djokovic, or Andy Murray.

The cheapest ticket (on the secondary market) for today’s Wimbledon final between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz was selling for over $20,000 USD – compared to $7,000 USD for yesterday’s women’s final.

This marks the first pair to face each other in Roland Garros and Wimbledon finals in the same year since Federer and Nadal in 2008 (who achieved this for three consecutive years: 2006-2008). Carlos now has the opportunity to win three consecutive Wimbledon titles – last achieved by Novak Djokovic (2018-2019, 2021-2022).

Carlos leads their head-to-head 8-4, and Jannik hasn’t beaten him at tour level since 2023. The Italian is playing his 5th Grand Slam final and his first Wimbledon final, having reached the finals of the last four majors. Three of his last four losses have been to Carlitos.

Meanwhile, Alcaraz is playing his 6th Grand Slam final without any loss. This is his 3rd consecutive Wimbledon final, where he seeks a third consecutive title. He carries a 24-match overall win streak and a 20-match Wimbledon win streak.
