The 67th edition of the Caribbean Series will be played from January 31 to February 7 at El Nido de las Aguilas de Mexicali, in the return of winter baseball to Mexico, after four years of absence, when it was played in Mazatlan in 2021.
This international tournament will consist of 14 games over eight days, in an edition that unlike a year ago when it was played in Miami with the participation of seven countries, now there will only be five, four familiar rivals with the host Mexico, the champion Venezuela, along with Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
The novelty is Japan, which will arrive as a guest country and will make history with the first time that an Asian ninth participates in the Caribbean Series.

As in every Caribbean Series, the champions of the winter leagues participate in the tournament and in this edition only the team that will represent Mexico remains to be known, which could be decided on Tuesday night if the Charros de Jalisco defeat the favorites Tomateros de Culiacan, who need a victory to send the series to the seventh game
