One of the regular celebrities in Las Vegas is Canelo Alvarez, a city that has become his professional home for his fights at the T-Mobile.

But this past weekend the Nevada city once again had eyes on it, but not for boxing, but for Formula 1.

Saul Alvarez at Red Bull with Verstappen

After the Las Vegas Grand Prix on Sunday night, Saul Alvarez approached the Red Bull drivers, wearing Czech Perez’s cap and was caught in a friendly conversation with Max Verstappen, who had just been crowned a four-time F1 champion.

Verstappen was surprised by Canelo’s congratulations, but he was seen smiling in the chat with the Super Middleweight world champion.

Verstappen finished fifth in the race and ahead of Lando Norris, the second place in the drivers’ standings, which gave him the 2024 F1 title. The Dutchman reached 403 points, while the McLaren Briton reached 340, an unassailable difference when Norris can only take up to 52 points in the last two races of the calendar over the Red Bull Racing driver.
