In this afternoon’s game, corresponding to Week 8 of the NFL, between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles, a dramatic scene occurred in the second quarter with the Eagles holding a partial lead. Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffered an ankle injury that will surely keep him out for several weeks.
On a passing play to the center of the field, he received the ball and, upon falling, his ankle twisted in a very ugly manner. Immediately, his teammates and opponents recognized the harsh reality.
The injury cart had to come onto the field to stabilize him and take him to the locker room.
The Giants have said that Skattebo will undergo surgery tonight at a local hospital.

Now that more is known about the injury suffered by the New York Giants running back, and with the surgery he will undergo tonight, he is expected to miss the entire 2025 season.
His teammates have sent him much encouragement so he can recover as soon as his healing process begins and return stronger for next year.
