Caitlin Clark‘s rise from Iowa Hawkeyes star to WNBA rookie phenomenon with the Indiana Fever has made nearly everything she touches turn into must-have merchandise.
That status was reinforced this week when a fan revealed the much-anticipated “Caitlin Clark Stanley” tumbler ahead of its scheduled launch, sending social media into a frenzy.
The timing continues Clark‘s rapid rise beyond the court as a cultural force and emerging business icon.
Their limited-edition “Caitlin Clark Blacktop” series blends top tier functionality with bold visuals.
Each piece is finished in a striking palette of black, purple and blue, and features high gloss basketball-inspired details, Clark‘s signature and her signature number 22 emblazoned on the base.
Clark herself commented on the partnership, saying, “Partnering with Stanley 1913 is an exciting opportunity to work with a brand that shares my values and champions women’s sports. This collection has something for everyone – from the athletes putting in the work on the court to the fans shaping the culture.”
Release confusion and viral reactions
Despite the positive reaction, the merchandise’s in-store release came a day before schedule.
The discovery came from X user Macin (@MacinHarvey), a longtime follower of Clark, who proudly posted photos of the cup and box on Monday.
“Caitlin Clark Stanley has been acquired,” the fan announced, alongside images of the matte black tumbler accented with glossy basketball-like stripes, a blue lid, and the Stanley logo in purple and light blue.
Clark‘s signature was printed on the packaging, underscoring its exclusivity.
Release confusion and viral reactions
Stanley had announced the collaboration would officially be available on September 3.
But Macin’s post showed they had secured the tumbler a day early from Dick’s Sporting Goods in West Des Moines.
Fans quickly jumped into the comments, expressing both envy and confusion.
“Wait is it out already?” one fan asked, echoing the thoughts of many. Soon after, others reported spotting the item at a Cedar Rapids store as well, fueling speculation that certain retailers released stock early.
The early leak only heightened demand. Clark‘s merchandise has consistently sold out within minutes of launch, leaving many fans empty-handed.
What’s inside the collection
The line features a thoughtfully curated set of hydration gear built for performance and everyday use.
The Quencher ProTour Flip Straw Tumblers come in 40- and 30-ounce sizes, priced at US $55 and US $45 respectively, and offer a leak-proof Flip Straw lid with sleek metallic trim and embossed artwork.
A 24-ounce IceFlow Flip Straw 2.0 Bottle, costing US $40, incorporates AeroLight technology to trim down weight by roughly one third compared to standard steel bottles.
Meanwhile, the 64-ounce IceFlow Flip Straw Jug, at US $65, promises all-day hydration with fewer refills, again using the convenient flip straw design.
The collection launches online at Stanley1913.com starting September 3, with select retailers, including SCHEELS and Dick’s Sporting Goods, carrying the products throughout the month, that is, if they haven’t released early and still have stock.
