The Indiana Fever (18-15) keep stacking up games in their strong run this year, but Caitlin Clark continues to sit out contests in what was supposed to be a breakout second season following her Rookie of the Year campaign. Last year, she shattered numerous marks, including the most points by a rookie (769) and all-time highs like 19 assists in one game and 337 over the full schedule.

Clark has now missed 11 games in a row and 20 overall this season, with the Fever holding a 10-10 record in her absence. That includes their recent setback against the Dallas Wings and Paige Bueckers by one point, marking the Wings’ first victory over Indiana this year after three previous failures-three, including this one, of which came without Clark on the floor.

Clark’s Heated Bench Reactions Go Viral

A video circulating on TikTok captures Caitlin Clark’s mounting irritation during the Fever’s loss to the Wings, showcasing a series of her animated reactions from the sidelines. The clip compiles her intense moments, underscoring the strain of a season where she’s only suited up for 13 out of 34 games so far.

Despite her limited playing time, she contributed to key wins, such as the game against the Liberty, in which she scored nine points in 38 seconds, handing the champions their first loss of the season. However, she had to skip the Commissioner’s Cup Final and All-Star Game, despite topping the fan vote charts.

Clark has always been fiery when it comes to officials, often vocalizing her thoughts loudly, whether she’s in the game or not. This year, though, her shouts from the bench have ramped up as she cheers on her squad. Supporters are buzzing about her desire to get back out there, but there’s still no clear timeline for her comeback.

Fever Eye Playoffs Amid Clark’s Absence

Even without Clark, the Fever boast solid odds of making the postseason with 11 games to go. Snagging wins in five of those would push them past last season’s even 20-20 mark, when they punched their first playoff ticket since 2016. Up next for Indiana is a Friday home matchup against Washington, featuring their standout first-year players Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen, followed by a tilt with the league’s bottom-dwellers, the Connecticut Sun (5-26).
