Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has emerged as the frontrunner in fan voting for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, according to the league’s first returns released on Friday.

This marks a significant achievement for Clark, who was also the leading vote-getter during her rookie season. She gathered 515,993 votes – the most of any WNBA player.

Despite the impressive numbers, Clark remains grounded and emphasizes the importance of team success over individual accolades. “People get so hyped up over that, but that’s not why you play the game,” she said.

“I think it’s a fun way to get the fans involved and really passionate about All-Star. It gets them excited, makes them feel involved; it’s a fun aspect to have.”

Team effort reflects in voting results

Clark’s individual success is mirrored by her teammates’ performances, highlighting the Fever’s collective strength. In the current fan voting standings, four Indiana Fever players are ranked in the top 10:

  • Aliyah Boston – 3rd place with 446,961 votes
  • Kelsey Mitchell – 7th place with 277,664 votes
  • Lexie Hull – 9th place with 217,438 votes

The team’s dominance in the early voting reflects their strong performances and the growing support from fans. Clark expressed pride in her teammates’ recognition, stating, “It’s also cool for me to see how much love my teammates also got.”

The All-Star Game, scheduled for July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, will feature starters selected based on fan votes, which account for 50 percent of the total, with players and media each contributing 25 percent.

The top four guards and six frontcourt players by combined scores will become starters, with the two starters receiving the most fan votes serving as team captains.

While Clark’s early lead is promising, she remains focused on the team’s overall performance and the upcoming games. “Whether who ends up being an All-Star or not, it’s still cool to see the love you get from the fans,” she added.

As the fan voting period continues until June 28, the Fever’s strong presence in the standings indicates a bright future for the team and its players. Clark’s humility and team-first mentality serve as a testament to her character and leadership both on and off the court.
