Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull shared a video on TikTok that ended up saying more than any formal announcement. In the clip, Clark first appears in selfie mode lip-syncing the phrase “tell a friend to tell a friend”, and right after that the camera pans to Hull, who completes the idea with a simple but clear: “she’s back”. Two friends celebrating with joy.

Clark even left a comment on the video, “YIPEEE SKIPEEEEEE”, reflecting her enthusiasm and shared joy. It’s not just a teammate staying in the franchise, it’s a friend celebrating that the team is staying together.

Indiana will have more of Lexie Hull in 2026

During the 2025 season, Hull played all 44 games, starting 30 of them, and had her most solid year with averages of 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and almost two assists per game, as well as surpassing 27 minutes on the court. This is in addition to her defensive contribution, with more than one steal per game, establishing herself as a reliable player on both sides of the court.

But her real value appears when the context changes. In the playoffs, when the pressure is on and rotations are shortened, Hull raised her level and became an even more important piece within the system, surpassing 10 points per game and maintaining her presence in rebounding and team play.

During Clark’s absence through injury, Hull had to take on more responsibility within the team. His numbers did not explode, but they did reflect something equally valuable: stability, adaptability and the ability to fulfill different roles without the team’s performance suffering. This silent growth is what makes the difference over the course of a season and also influences decisions such as his renewal.

The friends will stay together at Indiana Fever and celebrate naturally. Meanwhile, the team is betting on continuity, chemistry and keeping the pieces that are essential to compete at the highest level in the WNBA. And sometimes, that kind of news is also celebrated by dancing on TikTok.
