Caitlin Clark‘s arrival at Indiana Fever and the league was a huge phenomenon, attracting thousands of fans to the sport. In fact, her jersey was the second best-selling among the NBA and WNBA (Steph Curry was number one) from September 1 to November 3, 2024.
Although this year was not her best season, her jerseys continue to thrill her fans.
Clark thrills a young fan
During her second year in the league, injuries to her quadriceps, ankle, and groin limited CC, who still averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.6 steals in the only 13 games she was able to play.
Despite this, the Fever star’s impact on the league is undeniable, winning fans of all ages regardless of whether she is on the court or on the bench. For this reason, the reaction of a young fan stole the hearts of everyone on TikTok.
User @hairbyfoxy shared a video of a girl opening a special Christmas gift: a blue Fever jersey with Clark’s name on it. The girl couldn’t believe it and asked her father if he had bought it for her: “So when we were shopping, did you remember I wanted this and we couldn’t get it?” she asked.
“Santa must have been watching. Or the elf man followed us,” the dad responded, making his daughter laugh. “I think you got it for me,” she said, quickly leaving her dilemma behind and going to put on Clark’s jersey.
The girl’s sweet reaction touched everyone in the comments section, but there was one that stood out and continued to bring joy to this fan: Caitlin’s.
“Let’s gooooooo,” CC commented enthusiastically, to which @hairbyfoxy replied, “Thank you!! You made her day” and four crying emojis.
The account then shared another video of the girl thanking CC for the gesture. Without a doubt, the young fan received the best Christmas present ever.
