The Masters is an event that almost always sees athletes from all sorts of disciplines come together, with golf being a hobby for many of them.

On this occasion in 2025, WNBA star Caitlin Clark found herself hanging out with NFL quarterback Josh Allen at Augusta.

The Indiana Fever player was speaking to Kira Dixon for a 16-minute interview “Under the Umbrellas” at the Masters and they discussed plenty of topics, including Clark’s outfits.

Clark spoke highly of golf as a sport, saying that she would “probably put the Masters No.1” when it comes to major American sports events. That is high praise, considering she has attended a Super Bowl.

Clark’s time at the Masters

Something that clearly stood out to Clark from her time at the Masters was getting to meet Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

“The aspect of not having your phone is so unique,” Clark said of the Masters‘ famous fan policy.

“You can tell everybody is so invested and they’re really just there to watch the greatness of the athletes… As a professional athlete, you can empathize with that.

“I just feel like a normal fan getting to follow on the course,” Clark said. “Even talking to, I saw Josh Allen and Luke Combs and a few others last night. That’s what we all love about it.”

Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau face off in the final round at Augusta National Golf Club.

If he clinches the title on Sunday, it would end his 11-year drought in major championships and firmly cement his legacy among golf’s all-time greats.
