Brooks Koepka, like the rest of the LIV Golf players, is on vacation away from the green, enjoying his time as a father and husband. February is when hostilities resume in the Saudi Arabian league, but that’s still at least three months away, and Jena Sims, the golfer’s partner, knows this better than anyone. That’s why her wife took the opportunity to go back in time by attending Miss Teen USA.

It’s worth remembering that LIV Golf entered the tournament to challenge the PGA Tour in viewership, “stealing” the best players on the planet with sheer cash. However, some golfers from the Saudi Arabian league participate in the prestigious majors. Koepka didn’t fare well in the 2025 tournament: he missed the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship. His best finish was a T12 at the U.S. Open, while he also missed the cut at The Open Championship.

Jena Sims posts thank you photo to Brooks Koekpa for keeping housewarming

Giving a shout-out to the professional golfer, Sims wrote on her Instagram Story: “Shout out to my husband for keeping house this week. From Miss Teen USA to dropping preschool for me.” Along with a hungover photo of herself holding an alcoholic beverage after the event, the weight of her words truly shines through. Sims participated in the event with 51 other contestants on her shoulders.

Shout out to my husband for keeping house this week

Just after the night concluded, Sims returned to the more mellow pace of her life, posting an update on her Instagram. She promised to end her night at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, but not before reuniting with her eager family. Expressing her gratitude to Miss USA for organizing the glamorous event, Sims wrote: “Recapping tomorrow after I kiss my husband and baby, but THANK YOU @missusa.”

Brooks Koepka joins Tour players for the Grayson Murray Classic

Although relationships between golfers from different tours have yet to find a way to align themselves 100% with a smile, events like the one held two weeks ago allow players to connect with each other for a greater reason. The Grayson Murray Classic took place this Monday with the presence of Brooks Koepka-winner of five majors-and players from the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour.

The event was followed by a gala dinner at the Raleigh Country Club in North Carolina, with proceeds going to the Grayson Murray Foundation, which promotes mental health and addiction treatment. This championship follows the death of Grayson Murray in May 2024.
