Bronny James rookie year with the Los Angeles Lakers has been quite a ride: from being the first player in NBA history to play along his father – superstar LeBron James – to finding his rhythm in the G League with the South Bay Lakers.
And the improvement is clear: Bronny James racked up 17 points, three rebounds, five assists and one block in 30 minutes off the bench during a 118-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on March 21st.
It was the first time the former USC Trojans guard hit double figures in 22 NBA games, and his performance may have earned some more playing time moving forward. “I feel like it’s all coming back. Just being out for that long, stuff that I had to go through, wind-wise and lung-wise,” James said after the game.
