Brian Schottenheimer broke his silence on the trade of Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys head coach spoke about the decision to trade the linebacker to the Green Bay Packers.

What did Brian Schottenheimer say about Micah Parsons’ change from the Dallas Cowboys?

“We just went through the whole process. At the end of the day, it was unanimous. It wasn’t an overnight thing. We had talked about it. When you look at a football team, when you can potentially add up to four or five players, it gives you the ability to do some things,” Brian Schottenheimer on Micah Parsons’ move from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers.

Why did the Cowboys trade Micah Parsons?

According to Jerry Jones, the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, the reason the Cowboys traded Micah Parsons was because of the great return capital they received: two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny ClarkJerry Jones also said that he had a verbal agreement with the player which was then broken by Micah Parsons‘ agent.

According to Brian Schottenheimer: “We’re certainly excited about the addition of Kenny Clark. He’s very disruptive on the inside. At the end of the day, we’re going to have to maximize the picks we have and that will obviously be the plan.”
