After starring for Boise State in college football, Ashton Jeanty has his sights set on making a big splash in the NFL.
The running back is set to be one of the biggest names available come the Draft at the end of April, and while there is nothing certain about who will select the 21-year-old, he is making his preference clear.
“I would love to play for the Cowboys it would be like a dream come true,” Jeanty told reporters after putting pen to paper on a contract with Disruptive Sports to represent him.

Jeanty’s confession isn’t all that surprising given he played high school football in Frisco, Texas. He’s also previously stated that he believes his talents would be the “perfect fit” for the Cowboys and that he could be a “hometown hero” for the club.
Jeanty coming off a big season
Jeanty is coming off a huge campaign for the Broncos, rushing for 2,288 yards and 28 touchdowns, along with an eye-popping 7.3 yards per carry.
With his collegiate career seemingly over, he will finish with 4,769 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns, along with 862 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
His performances this season helped Boise State win the Mountain West, which saw them reach the College Football Playoff as the No. 4 ranked team. Unfortunately for the Broncos and Jeanty, they fell 31-14 to the Penn State Nittany Lions in the quarterfinal.
The 2025 NFL Draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin this year. Round 1 will take place on Thursday, April 24, followed by Rounds 2 and 3 on April 25 and the final rounds on April 26.
