Mist BC became the second champion in Unrivaled history this past Wednesday. Led by Breanna Stewart, the team defeated Phantom BC to secure the title. However, the victory was quickly overshadowed by reports of star guard Arike Ogunbowale’s alleged arrest.

At Sephora Arena in Miami, Florida, the Mist defeated Kelsey Plum’s Phantom 80-74, clinching their first championship in the 3-on-3 basketball league. Stewart carried the team with 32 points, while Ogunbowale-coming off the bench-was the second-leading scorer with an impressive stat line:

  • 14.3 minutes
  • 19 points
  • 53.8% field goal percentage
  • 3 rebounds
  • 3 assists

Despite her standout performance, the celebration later took a dramatic turn.
